| UPK (Universal Pre-Kindergarten) Teacher | | The Clyde-Savannah Central School District has an opening for a UPK Teacher. The UPK Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for preschool-aged children. The teacher plans and delivers developmentally appropriate instruction that promotes children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth while preparing them for kindergarten success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons aligned with state early learning standards. -
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence. -
Support children's social-emotional development through positive guidance and classroom management techniques. -
Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of developmental milestones. -
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. -
Collaborate with special education staff, intervention specialists, and support personnel as needed. -
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities. -
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. -
Participate in school events, professional development opportunities, staff meetings, and parent conferences. -
Ensure compliance with all district, state, and licensing requirements related to early childhood education. | Per CSFA Contract |
