Job Description

Clyde-Savannah Central Schools is pursuing a high-qualified candidate for the position of 7-12 Instructional Coach. The ideal candidate will support teachers in improving instructional practices across all Tiers. They will support teachers in enhancing student learning outcomes and foster a culture of continuous professional growth:

 

  • Partner with educators to plan, model, and refine instructional strategies aligned with NYS standards.
  • Provide feedback through classroom observations and coaching cycles.
  • Assist teachers in analyzing student performance data to inform instructional decisions
  • Support the development of intervention strategies for diverse learners.
  • Model effective use of educational technology in the classroom.
  • Maintain regular communication with school leadership regarding instructional needs and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings, committees, and school improvement initiatives.
  • Promote and support the district initiative of Teacher Clarity by guiding teacher practices
  • Align classroom instructional strategies to reflect SCEP and DCIP plans.
Job Qualifications
  • Masters degree in education
  • Administrative certification preferred
  • Valid teaching certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience with a sound knowledge of effective coaching practices.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum design, and assessment practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
