Job Description

Clyde-Savannah Central Schools is pursuing a highly-qualified candidate for the position of full-time ENL (English as a New Language) Teacher. 

The successful candidate will:

• work with a student population of up to 10 English Language Learners, ranging from Kindergarten to High School. 
•  provide push-in/pull-out ENL support as required per ENL Units of Study;
• administering required assessments
• communicating regularly with caregivers, community, faculty and staff;
• participate in family engagement events before and during the school year
• collaborate with district ENL providers
• collaborate with principals and PPS director on scheduling, testing, providing professional development to staff
• collaborate with instructional staff on supporting ENL students, translation services
• participate in Student Support Team, 504, CSE meetings pertaining to ENL students
• engage in professional growth opportunities
• other duties related to adherence to Part 154 regulations.

Job Qualifications

NYS certified ENL teacher or pathway towards ENL certification; TESOL Certification.
