Job Description

The Clyde-Savannah Central School District currently has an opening for a School Psychologist: Position available on or about 7/1/2024

 The School Psychologist will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating and reporting student needs to teams, Committee on Special Education (CSE) as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Making data-informed recommendations as a member of the CSE including classification, programs, goals, services, support, modifications and accommodations
  • Monitoring and supervision of data collection related to IEPs and 504 plans
  • Effectively and compassionately communicating with students, colleagues and families
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development and growth
  • Facilitating team meetings and professional learning
  • Providing direct student counseling and consultations with staff
  • Serving as a member of teams, including Mental Health, Crisis Response, MTSS

Job Qualifications
  • New York State School Psychologist certification or internship certification issued by Office of Teaching Initiatives
  • Experience with evaluation and CSE membership at Elementary level preferred
