Job Description

Looking for a candidate interested in a Clinical Fellowship or a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist.

The Clyde-Savannah Central School District is seeking a speech and language pathologist for a 10-month position with opportunities for additional summer hours. The successful candidate will join a small, closely-knit multidisciplinary team to collaboratively evaluate and diagnose speech, language and communication needs, develop goals, and deliver therapy in multiple formats.  The successful candidate will serve as a valued member of the Committee on Special Education and will have opportunities for professional development and growth. 

Clyde-Savannah has a supportive, engaging SLP-CCC on staff with more than ten years of experience, including oversight of clinical fellowships.

Job Qualifications
  • Graduate seeking clinical fellowship or a valid speech/language pathology license, or certification in speech therapy
  • Valid speech/language pathology license, issued by New York State Office of Professions; CCC preferred but not required
  • Training in executive functioning, social thinking and pragmatics is desirable
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the CSE process, regulations, and required documentation
  • Knowledge of the MTSS process
  • Ability to communicate clearly and with empathy to students, faculty, staff, community and families
